A Breed Rescue is an organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of purebred dogs. These groups are run by volunteers who help specific breeds of dogs that are abused or abandoned. The dogs are usually housed in a foster home until they are adopted. All dogs are checked by a vet, up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered. Each dog is evaluated and applicants are screened prior to adoptions. Adopting from a Breed Rescue is a great way to get the breed qualities without supporting more litters.
