Fae, Border Collie - Mid Atlantic Border Collie Rescue
We are a not-for-profit organization run primarily by volunteers. We currently serve the following states; Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia, as well as the District of Columbia. Fundamentally, Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue is a haven for Border Collies and dogs of the Herding group that have been misplaced, neglected, or abandoned. Many of these dogs are turned into animal shelters because their previous owners discovered they were not up to the challenges border collies have to offer or because changes in their lives left them unable to care properly for their dogs.
The individuals who comprise Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue are current or former breeders, and handlers with years of experience and who deeply understand the needs of the Border Collie breed.
Being able to help a dog that has been overlooked, misunderstood or who’s life was in jeopardy is our primary goal. Placing these dogs in an environment where they are understood and cared for and watching them blossom is our greatest reward.
Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue is located in Kent County on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, convenient to our coverage area.
All dogs taken into Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue are assessed for temperment, abilities, and needs. They are crate trained, are updated on innoculations, and are spayed or neutered. An application must be completed and approved in order to adopt.
